Out of gauge (oog), specialist transport or abnormal loads require understanding and attention to the finest detail to ensure that the most secure and effective movement is provided to satisfy not only our client’s requirements but is also compliant with the transit countries own legislation, which can often vary from country to country

Our UK definition

Abnormal Indivisible Loads (AIL) are above a width of 2.5 metres, over 4 metres in height or over the weight limit for the particular country it needs to travel through (for example 44 tonnes in the UK or 40 tonnes in France).

STGO: Special Types General Order
Cat 1 = up to 50 tonnes
Cat 2 = up to 80 tonnes
Cat 3 = up to 150 tonnes
